Korean actress Park Eun-Bin releases her debut mini album ‘PRESENT’

South Korean actress Park Eun Bin is attempting to get into the music industry.

The 31-year-old K-drama actress made her debut on January 4 with the publication of her debut digital single album, Present. Her first fan event took place at the Olympic Hall in Songpa-gu, Seoul, on January 5 and 6.

Three tracks make up the compact album: the upbeat, catchy title track Do-re-mi-fa, the electronic pop song Into The Light, and the moving ballad Now.

Park, who started performing at the age of five, is renowned for her skillful acting and willingness to take on a number of difficult television roles over the course of her career. These roles include that of an autistic lawyer in Extraordinary Attorney Woo (2022) and a princess in The King’s Affection (2021) who had to disguise herself as a man.

And now, she has proven herself to be a brilliant singer.

Castaway Diva is a Netflix-exclusive K-drama that Park just recorded 11 songs for. In the 12-episode romance, Park plays an aspiring singer named Seo Mok-ha who ends up stranded on a barren island for 15 years. Park’s work has gained her recognition.

According to reports, Park spent six months practicing singing for three hours every day in order to be ready for the series.

On January 4, she thanked the Castaway Diva producers and her fans on Instagram, writing:

“Thanks to Mok-ha, I was able to record songs that I’ll treasure for a lifetime. As a token of my appreciation, I’m excited to present music that showcases a new side of me, beyond what I could convey through Mok-ha. It’s a gift from Park Eun-bin, and I hope it will be received with as much love as it was made.”
