Disney+ Korean Variety Show ‘Unexpected Business in California’ to Debut October

On October 26, famous actor Cha Taehyun and Moving actress Zo Insung will abandon their red-carpet lives to run an Asian shop in suburban California in Unexpected Business in California, a hilarious Korean variety show coming to Disney+.

Cha Taehyun and Zo Insung, two Korean celebrities who have become acclimated to the bustling business district of Seoul, are relocated to the tranquil coastal town of Monterey, California, responsible for managing a Korean-American grocery store. They’ll be treated like regular employees, sorting stock, stacking shelves, and serving refreshments to locals while the store’s owner takes a well-deserved vacation.
In the third season of this popular show, Zo Insung will try to share iconic Korean cuisine with American diners, building on his culinary prowess from previous seasons. Throughout the program, audiences can expect a variety of guest appearances, including a memorable visit from Zo’s Moving co-star Han Hyojoo.
Moving, starring Zo Insung as a superpowered spy who goes MIA when his government asks him to do the unthinkable; and The Worst of Evil, starring Ji Changwook as an undercover police officer and Wi Hajun as the leader of a Korean gang involved in a drug smuggling ring in 1990s Gangnam. Fans can now sign up to watch The Zone: Survival Mission, a hilarious Korean variety program featuring Yu Jaeseok, Lee Kwangsoo, and Kwon Yuri.
Unexpected Business in California will be available on Disney+ beginning October 26.
